On air since 1988, Sam’s Garage originates out of Atlanta, GA, providing a wide spectrum of automotive advice, industry news, and product awareness.

Sam Memmolo


In addition to his work on radio, Sam Memmolo is a Master Mechanic with years of experience, including managing technical training for Allen Testproducts, which designed and built cutting edge automotive diagnostic equipment.

He has a long and distinguished career on television. Sam wrote and co-hosted the incredibly successful TV show “Shadetree Mechanic” on TNN (190 episodes spread over 8 years). Sam also co-hosted “Crank and Chrome” and then “Two Guys Garage” TV shows that aired on Speed Channel Sam is now in his 22nd year of TV with his current television project, “Motorhead Garage” which can be seen on the Velocity Network several times weekly.

Sam’s TV presence (more than 20 years) has positioned him as a nationally recognized automotive expert.

Sam Mahdavi

In addition to his work on Sam’s Garage, Sam Mahdavi founded Mahdavi Motorsports 15 years ago. His Lilburn, GA specializes in electronic diagnosis, builds turbocharged performance vehicles, as well as all general repairs. Mahdavi Motorsports also does retro-mod restorations.subsam218 years ago, Sam began his automotive career with Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company as an alignment technician and then moved into driveability and diagnosis. He specializes in electronic diagnosis and builds turbocharged performance vehicles.

Sam was car owner, crew chief and driver for two years and hired a driver so he could crew chief his last year when he won the championship for a second time at Norwalk Ohio. Sam also won all the marbles on the April 2008 edition of the TV series “PINKS” which aired on Speed Channel.Sam ran a drag racing operation in 2006 through 2008 and won the championship two times and was runner up once. He ran a Turbo Cressida in the NDRA or Nopi Drag Racing Association, Turbo Street Class under the sponsorship of Greased Lightning and Roper Pumps.

Mahdavi Motorsports has built and provided over 10 performance vehicles for the “Fast and Furious” movie series, and Sam appeared in “Fast 7”.
